| 02/28/06 Bob In Search of Purpose Poor Todd can't seem to get a break. But then again is his struggle not all that different from our own. It seems we're all doomed to walk in a world with out any real purpose. This of course is argued by many religious organization which somehow believe that our purpose is to achieve some form of greatness, but without bothering to get into an explanation of logic, their arguments are just simply not true. What truth can be honestly derived in this argument? Perhaps that we create our own purposes in life, and that any truth in that sense must be made. But even with that in mind, the struggle still seems somewhat futile. So if you're looking for that purpose in life, you've got to make it yourself. Hopefully you never reach a state in which you can understand the necessity of this, but if you do, that's what you have to know. No one is going to tell you what to do, you've got to create it yourself. ~Bob |
